- Phase 1 - Prelims examination is of objective type.
- Phase 2 - Mains exam is of written type.
- Phase 3 – Interview
There is No Negative Marking in the prelims examination.
PHASE 1 – PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
You will face the preliminary exam first which is an objective test of 100 Marks. In which 70% weightage will be to the subjects prescribed in syllabus for Law Paper-I and Law Paper-II, and 30% weightage shall be given to test proficiency in Hindi and English language. The question will be based on following subjects:
- Law : Same as prescribed for Law Paper I & II for Main Examination.
- Hindi
- English Proficiency :
- 1. Tenses
- 2. Articles and Determiners
- 3. Phrasal Verbs and Idioms
- 4. Active & Passive Voice
- 5. Co-ordination & Subordination
- 6. Direct and Indirect Speech
- 7. Antonyms and Synonyms
- 8. Modals expressing various concepts- (Obligation, Request, Permission, Prohibition, Intention, Condition, Probability, Possibility, Purpose, Reason, Companies, Contrast)
PHASE 2 – MAINS EXAMINATION
The mains examination is consisted of three papers :
PAPER I (100 MARKS)
You will be asked question based on the Following:
- Code of Civil Procedure, 1908,
- The Constitution of India
- Indian Contract Act, 1872,
- The Indian Evidence Act, 1872
- The Limitation Act, 1963
- The Specific Relief Act, 1963
- The Transfer of Property Act, 1882
- Interpretation of Statues
- The Rajasthan Rent Control Act, 2001
- Order/Judgment Writing
PAPER II (100 MARKS)
You will be asked question based on the Following:
- The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973
- The Indian Evidence Act, 1872
- The Indian Penal Code, 1860
- The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children)Act, 2015
- The Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (ChapterXVII)
- The Probation of Offenders Act,1958
- Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005
- Framing of Charge/Judgment Writing.
PAPER III – LANGUAGE PAPER (100 Marks)
- Paper-A Hindi Essay (50M)
Essay Writing in Hindi Language. - Paper-B English Essay (50M)
Essay Writing in English Language.
NOTE : Minimum marks are 40% in each written paper and aggregate of 50% to qualify for interview. Relaxation of 5% each has been made for SC/ST/PWD.
PHASE 3 - INTERVIEW (100 Marks)
– Interview will carry (35 Marks)
